Senior Java Developer

About your role:

You will be part of a delivery team that builds the Commerce Hub platform. Built to deliver innovation through simple, fast integrations, the Commerce Hub is the most powerful omnichannel platform. A true single-entry point and intelligent orchestration layer provides access to the latest, most popular commerce experiences through merchants' existing infrastructure. With developer-friendly, flexible communication standards, unified APIs, and pre-certified integrations the Commerce Hub reduces development time and accelerates speed to market.

What you'll do:

• Analyze complex processes and technologically heterogenic applications
• Design software solutions in the real-time payments area
• Develop microservices for highly efficient protocol translation and enrichment with reactive design patterns
• Deliver end-to-end solutions for payment APIs
• Develop high throughput and high-volume transaction APIs that can be consumed by omnichannel platforms
• Enhance API solutions to offer simple, easy-to-consume APIs for payment customers
• Participate in development of roadmap and strategies for documenting and presenting API specifications in an easy and consumable format
• Develop roadmap and strategies to provide client libraries and SDKs for API products

Experience you will need to have:

• 10+ years of software engineering experience with Java, Spring Boot, and WebFlux
• 10+ years of experience in unit testing using JUnit and Mockito
• 10+ years of experience with databases and code integrations such as Oracle and PostgreSQL
• 10+ years of experience implementing complex full stack solutions including APIs and microservices
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Spring Cloud, Spring Data, Spring Transactional, and Spring Batch
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Spring integration with Redis and other data sources
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or a relevant field, or an equivalent combination of education, work, and/or military experience

Experience that would be great to have:

• Payments industry experience
• Experience in AWS Cloud, or related cloud platforms, and API management
• Experience in implementing high-volume transaction processing applications
• Experience using quality and security scan tools such as Sonar, Fortify, and Web Inspect
• Experience in integration testing APIs with Postman, JMeter, etc.

Salary Range

$128,000.00 - $216,000.00

These pay ranges apply to employees in New Jersey and New York. Pay ranges for employees in other states may differ.

For incentive eligible associates, the successful candidate is eligible for an annual incentive opportunity which may be delivered as a mix of cash bonus and equity awards in the Company’s sole discretion.
