Job Description

• For this SQE Principle Level Engineer position, Project Leadership experience is mandatory.  You must possess the abilities to successfully plan and lead medical device instrumentation projects from conception to completion. This includes the ability to perform detailed analysis and research for expected costs, scheduling, requirement analysis, requirement generation, staffing, customer deliverables, automation tasks and more.
• This is a customer facing position. You must be able to interact successfully with customers and be able to guide the definition of project objectives and requirements as well as report program status.
• Project Leadership may include a single project or several smaller projects.
• You must be able to simultaneously direct, support and motivate SQE team members to effectively achieve project objectives and goals.
• This position requires a person who possesses strong leadership qualities, and consistently demonstrates role model attributes encompassing integrity, passion, commitment and the capacity to overcome obstacles.  Someone with the confidence to persevere for what is best for patients, who are the heart of our medical instrumentation focus, is key to this position.
• Prepare schedules and manage implementation of software testing; track and manage all SQE deliverables; provide statistical analysis of defects.
• An SQE Principle Level Engineer must be able to mentor, train and supervise junior level SQE engineers, by exemplifying detailed knowledge of SQE foundation tenets along with the ability to apply these methodologies precisely for project testing conditions.  Your skills and experience will help to support team members in all aspects of SQE Engineering.
• As a seasoned SQE Engineer, it is essential to possess a comprehensive and advanced understanding of SQE principles, concepts and techniques. In addition, you must have the ability to apply your expertise to meet technical assignments and project objectives to support company goals.  You will be responsible for proposing technical solutions to resolve errors that could negatively impact critical project objectives.
• You will be expected to participate in project costs and scope estimates, as well as contribute to completion of specific projects.  These assignments and decisions are significant to the company projects and may impact future performance or failure to achieve major organizational objectives. 
• You are expected to perform unusually complex tasks, and develop innovative solutions to handle all manner of complicated challenges.  You must excel at working independently to solve a vast set of complex problems, applying your talents of ingenuity, creativity, problem solving and vision to each potential solution. 
• Advocate solutions for new and improved SQE processes and procedures.
• You will be expected to assist in business development and proposal efforts, participate in project costs and scope estimates, as well as contribute to completion of specific projects.  These assignments and decisions are significant to the company projects and may impact future performance or failure to achieve major organizational objectives. 
• An SQE Principle Level Engineer is an active member of inter-organizational customer relationships.  You will have frequent interactions with senior staff members and customers.  You will be called on to represent the company as a prime technical expert on contracts and projects, as well as developing and presenting formal presentations, both internal and external to the company.
