Job Summary:
This position plays an essential role within the Corporate EPC Functions Quality Team and reports to the Corporate Manager of Quality. The position develops, operates, and leads the deployment of complex quality systems requiring the application of specialized and/or advanced quality engineering principles and technical analysis. Assesses the full life-cycle work processes to identify and mitigate design, construction, procurement and start-up risks. Perform work activities in support of the five Quality Core programs: Closed Loop Corrective Action, Lessons Learned, Assessments, Continuous Improvement, and People Based" Quality. #LI-SM2
This position is designated as part-time telework per our global telework policy and may require at least three days of in-person attendance per week at the assigned office or project. Weekly in-person schedules will be determined by the individual and their supervisor, in consultation with functional or project leadership”
Major Responsibilities:
Quality Core Programs – Manage the Closed-Loop-Corrective Action, Lessons Learned, and Causal Analysis programs, including vision, strategy, implementation, effectiveness and demonstrated value
- Includes trending and predictive analytics
- Includes leading, co-leading, or coaching causal analyses across the enterprise, as requested
- Includes identifying, developing, and rolling out innovative solutions to improve the implementation and execution of the Quality core programs to enhance internal and external customer satisfaction
Software Applications – Manage the budgeting, maintenance, continual improvement, and end-user technical support of software used to support the Quality core programs:
- Includes DevonWay and ComplianceWorks
Essential job duties:
- Responsible for the overall technical approach to identify and reduce quality risks
- Identifies, assesses and reduces the cradle-to-grave risk to projects by providing independent technical analysis, guidance, and recommendations
- Applies knowledge of quality engineering methodologies for input to failure analysis activities, quality program plans, and other documentation
- Supports the development of verification and validation plans, and evaluates the effectiveness of corrective actions and process improvement activities
- Maintains quality health metrics and trend analysis for the Quality core programs
- Identifies quality problems, initiates documented action and verifies implementation of solutions
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree (or international equivalent) and 13 to 15 years of releva
