Mid-Level Management Associate (0028)
OCT Consulting, LLC is an SBA-certified, 8(a) small business management and technology consulting firm that provides support to Federal Government clients. We provide consulting services in the areas of Strategy, Process Improvement, Change Management, Program and Project Management, Acquisition/Procurement, and Information Technology.
Responsibilities and Duties
OCT Consulting currently has an opening for an experienced Mid-Level Management Associate to support a Federal government client. The responsibilities for the Mid-Level Management Associate include:
- Collect and analyze data on the client organization's processes, policies, performance, and efficiency.
- Prepare reports and presentations for informed decision-making by the client’s senior management.
- Resolve complex problems, which require in-depth knowledge of analytical methodologies/principles.
- Provide recommendations for process improvements or strategic changes.
- Collaborate with geographically separated cross-functional teams from a remote environment to gather information and ensure alignment in documentation efforts.
Requirements
Qualifications and Skills
- Five (5) years of demonstrated relevant experience in management consulting, stakeholder engagement, presentation creation, strategic planning, and/or data analytics.
- Proven experience providing analytical support to a federal government program office.
- Proven experience providing acquisition support to a federal government client.
- Proven experience providing strategic planning support to a federal government client.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to convey complex information concisely.
- Prior experience with IT-related projects and/or IT modernization with the federal government.
- Prior experience working for a federally-focused management consulting firm is highly desirable.
- Mastery of the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and a capacity to coordinate collaboration efforts with key stakeholders.
- The ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to adapt to contingencies resulting from changes or modifications to the schedule and assessment requirements.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Education and Certifications
- A Bachelor’s degree is required
- Must be a US Citizen
- Must be able to obtain or retain a Public Trust or Secret clearance.
- The investigation will involve a credit, fingerprint, and law enforcement agency check

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Salary: $90,000 - $110,000 per year, commensurate with experience and education
