Job Description:
This role supports two senior leaders on TD AMCB's Communications and Public Affairs (CAPA) team with administrative and scheduling duties, as well as special projects, reports, and initiatives. The ideal candidate would have experience working in a fast-paced, professional environment. Capitol Hill or a similar government experience a plus. Applicants should pay close attention to detail and bring solution-oriented thinking to the role. Applicants should be proficient in the suite of Microsoft Office applications and demonstrate strong writing, proofreading skills, and organizational skills.
The Executive Administrative Assistant - Business Operations Manager provides specialized business management guidance and support for a functional area and implement policies/processes and/or initiatives to meet business management, strategy and governance objectives. May provide complex reporting, analysis, and assessments at the functional or enterprise level.
Depth & Scope:
- Experienced professional role providing specialized guidance/ assistance to function supported
- Focuses on short to medium-term (weekly-monthly), non-routine specialized/ complex issues and/or escalated matters
- Independently performs tasks from end to end
Education & Experience:
- Undergraduate degree
- 3 + years relevant experience
Preferred Skills:
- Serve as executive assistant to two senior leaders in Communications and Government Affairs, including managing their schedules, travel, and expenses.
- Support the creation of briefing materials for senior leadership, including memos, schedules, bios, and meeting logistics.
- Coordinate with outside offices, including government officials, trade groups, and other third parties on scheduling
- Versed in the full suite of Microsoft Office applications, including Power Point and Excel.
- Provide logistical, planning, and administrative support to teams planning senior leadership visits to Washington, D.C. and other key markets
- Serve as the point of contact for Government Affairs' Constituent Matters program to support the efficient resolution of customer complaints
- Serve as Government Affair's DIAMOND Delegate for the management of department technology and application access needs
- Provide administrative support for TD's Political Action Committee
Customer Accountabilities:
- Provides specialized business management related advice/support to management / leadership and respective teams for area(s) of specialization with industry, external and internal, enterprise and business awareness; understand trends, identify issues and opportunities and provide recommended action to management
- Leads on the implementation of initiatives in support of the overall business/function strategy
- Manages a set of business management work activities requiring coordination across multiple areas
- Supports / manages the integrated implementation of policies/processes / procedures / changes across multiple functional areas
- Provides subject matter expertise and/or input to projects/initiatives as a representative for area of specialization, and where necessary participate in identifying, designing and testing solutions and supporting implementation activities
Shareholder Accountabilities:
- May develop and provide complex reporting, analysis, and assessments at the functional or enterprise level
