Who We Want:

We are looking for an experienced Automatic Press Operator to join and our team! This individual will work under the Press Department Supervisor. The ideal person will have strong attentional to detail and desire to product quality parts in a quick manner. This person will thrive in a fast paced rapidly growing environment with a strong ability to work independently on a broad variety of tasks.

What You'll Do:

The Primary responsibility is monitoring up to 1,000 Ton Automatic presses ensuring quality stampings are produced per the Challenge Manufacturing Quality Standards, production orders and engineering specifications. The operator also performs necessary quality checks, records information in PLEX (Enterprise Resource Planning system -ERP), and performs general utility work to meet work schedule.

When and Where: 

This will be a 2nd Shift / 2PM -10PM M-F position located at our Plant 1 Office in Walker, MI.. 

This will be a 3rd Shift / 10PM - 6AM S-T position located at our Plant 1 Office in Walker, MI.

What You Need to Have:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • High School Diploma or GED (preferred)
  • One year of manufacturing experience.
  • Previous experience operating an Automatic Stamping Press (preferred).
  • Must be physically capable of performing the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
