Job Description Summary:

PayPal, Inc. seeks Software Engineer 2 in San Jose, CA

Job Duties: Perform E2E (End-to-End) test activities and work closely with developers and data scientists on complex and innovative software analytics applications. Design and perform test plans for testing system back-end components, ensuring software product’s quality and coverage. Develop and maintain automated test suites, using Python, Java, and Scala. Simulate E2E scenarios using various platforms and technologies. Report on test progress and bugs found. Evaluate Big data scoring machine learning solutions in the simulation environment and deploying the production-grade models in GCP and Hadoop. Create statistical distribution reports and data analysis to ensure defect-free releases by auditing the big data model variables. Telecommuting permitted from a commutable distance.

Job Description:

Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related field plus two years of experience in the job offered, as a Software Engineer, or a related occupation.

Additional Job Description:

Base salary: $135,283-176,000 per annum. 40 hours per week; M-F, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
