Job Summary and Mission

The Strategic Revenue Management (SRM) Analyst will contribute to Coffee & Beverages’ profitability through support of strategic pricing initiatives, insights, implementation, and managing team reporting.

As an SRM Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring the execution of pricing strategies and the development of pricing insights to drive effective implementation and process integrity. Additional responsibilities include optimizing and executing go-to-market pricing strategies. You will oversee all pricing, spanning pricing terms and trade strategy, price increase review, seasonal and new item launch pricing, price list and playbook management.

The analyst must achieve fluency in databases and systems to perform detailed data analyses and reporting that will help the Pricing team make critical pricing decisions. You will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely reporting of point-of-sales data, metrics, and key insights to support decision-making and drive operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities


 

  • Lead consumer-based pricing strategies in close collaboration with Sales, Category, and Finance teams to create long-term profitable growth.
  • Drive pricing and trade strategy, support, and monitor implementation, and evaluate performance on an ongoing basis, providing recommendations to improve pricing realization and implementation quality assurance and integrity.
  • Monitor data and business results for insights of the business, competitors, and brands for early indications of business or market trends, provide proactive, data-backed recommendations to enhance opportunities or mitigate risks as required.
  • Develop pricing recommendations (proposed prices and overall impact) based on analysis and understanding of implications to category portfolio, sales, finance, operations, supply chain, and overall business objectives.
  • Present and facilitate discussion on Pricing recommendations to cross functional teams and contribute to Pricing Business Review with Senior Leaders.
  • Develop and lead the use of IRI, PTA, & TVD tools to analyze historical activity, category trends and industry pricing to make recommendations on pricing and promotional strategies to help drive business unit objectives
