Assistant General Manager

Our partner in Falmouth, ME, is seeking an Assistant General Manager to support their operations. The Assistant General Manager will collaborate with the General Manager in overseeing revenue, safety, security, customer service, and compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure daily opening, closing, and security of the store.
• Meet and exceed sales objectives through unit rentals, insurance sales, and retail offerings.
• Maintain a secure environment for employees, customers, and visitors.
• Foster accountability for customer service, addressing concerns and work orders.
• Manage payment processing, cash handling, and timely bank deposits.
• Oversee security, functionality, repair of company equipment, and cleanliness of company grounds.
• Timely ordering, receiving, stocking, pricing, and displaying of products.
• Assist the General Manager in the auction process, including collection calls, notices, and unit preparation for new tenants

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Valid Driver's License with reliable transportation
• Strong multitasking and time management skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors, exposure to adverse environmental conditions

Desired Qualifications:

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in business management, real estate, logistics, supply chain, construction management, marketing, or equivalent.
• 2-3 years of related experience in retail, real estate, rental property management, logistics and transportation, e-commerce, construction, insurance, or hospitality
