We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Pediatric Audiologist to join our growing team! At VUMC, we provide our audiologist an environment where it is easy to collaborate with professionals in multiple disciplines, ultimately providing comprehensive care to all of our patients. The pediatric hearing services at Vanderbilt offers comprehensive testing, treatment and support services for children with hearing loss and their families. Our goal is to maximize every child’s hearing potential so that he or she can communicate independently and effectively.
This role is responsible for evaluating, treating and counseling pediatric patients with hearing and vestibular disorders to improve communication function and postural stability under occasional guidance. Initiates collaboration with health care team to meet patient care, outcomes and system improvement objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
- Completes full diagnostic hearing assessments using the appropriate testing method and equipment for the patient type, diagnosis, and reason for referral.
- Formulates and/or implements a treatment plan to address deficits and patient/family areas of concern.
- Completes documentation in a timely manner.
- Provides education/consultation to patient, family, health care team and community.
- Enhances and impacts our knowledge of the nature of communicative and related disorders.
- All providers participate in work at existing or new satellite clinic locations which may include Hendersonville, Murfreesboro, Spring Hill, Lebanon, etc.

Qualifications:
- Doctorate in Audiology (AuD) from an accredited program, preferred
- Valid TN state license as an audiologist or ability to obtain one prior to start date
- Certificate of Clinical Competency in Audiology (CCC-A) from the American Speech, Language and Hearing Association (ASHA)
- Prior experience working with pediatric patients, preferred
- Minimum of 1 year of relative experience, preferred
