Job Description
The Project Manager Assistant will prepare and analyze environmental samples using standard analytical techniques according to scientific and EPA methodology in compliance with Eurofins’ Quality Assurance programs and Standard Operating Procedures.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Demonstrate and promote the company vision
Show regular attendance and punctuality
Perform job functions in compliance with Eurofins Environment Testing’s EHS and QA standards
Apply GMP/GLP in all areas of responsibility, as appropriate
Work under close supervision using routine and standard procedures
Take responsibility for general housekeeping in group’s work area
Learn to use the Laboratory Information Management System to access project information, log in samples, record essential data and information, and check project status.
Perform tasks that support all project management, with an emphasis on Source Air projects. These include:
- Facilitate Project Management, assisting project managers at every step in the project development and execution process
- Prepare Project Documents as needed, including Master Sample Lists, Requests for Analysis Forms, Chain of Custody Forms, Media Request Forms, Invoices and similar documentation
- Organize and maintain inventories of needed sampling materials and supplies
- Prepare labelled bottles for specific projects
- Prepare sample media as assigned
- Coordinate preparation of sample media by other laboratory personnel
- Pack and ship sample containers and media as required
- Greet samples on arrival, organize and inventory samples for log-in
- Log-in samples to Laboratory Information Management System
- Store samples properly with the correct storage conditions
- Conduct all activities in a safe and efficient manner
- Perform other duties as assigned
The successful candidate will demonstrate the willingness and ability to become trained and competent in the use of word processing software, spreadsheets and laboratory data management systems to prepare documentation and supplies for projects to be provided to clients, and assist in other project management activities as needed.

Work Schedules
Work schedules are generally Monday - Friday 8 AM to 4:30 PM with a half hour lunch break. Overtime is offered and may be expected when needed to meet work load demands.
Qualifications
Basic Minimum Qualifications (BMQ): To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements below are representative of the knowledge, skill or ability required.
Education/Experience: BS or BA in chemist
