Barback / Food Runner - Lake Blackshear Resort
Coral Hospitality, one of the top management companies in the hospitality industry, is currently searching for a hardworking Barback/Food Runner for the Lake Blackshear Resort & Golf Club located in Cordele, Georgia!
This is a seasonal position starting March 1, 2026.

Lake Blackshear Resort has 10 lake cabins and 82 camp sites located on beautiful 8800-acre cypress lake with restaurant, bar, off site fitness center, conference center, marina with a lake restaurant, 18 hole-golf course designed by Denis Griffiths, hunting preserve, fishing and more.
Summary: Under the direct supervision of the Executive Chef. The Barback / Food Runner supports bartenders and servers by keeping the bar stocked, delivering food quickly and accurately, and maintaining a clean, organized workspace to ensure excellent guest service.
Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. You need to have a high energy and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You will need strong communication and teamwork skills. You need to be able to lift 30-50 lbs. Have basic understanding of food and beverage service.
Hours and days: Typically, Monday through Sunday with varying hours.
Typical Responsibilities – Barback:
- Restock ice, beer & liquor when bartenders need help
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, service stations, and storage areas
- Remove trash
- Assist bartenders during peak hours
Typical Responsibilities – Food Runner:
- Deliver food from kitchen to tables quickly and accurately
- Verify food presentation and correct orders before delivery
- Announce dishes to guests and identify special request or allergies
- Assist servers by pre-bussing tables
- Communicate with kitchen and front-of-house staff regarding delays or issues
Physical & Work Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to walk frequently and carry menus or small items
- Professional appearance and grooming standards
- Ability to work under pressure during peak hours
Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
