Dishwasher

Description

Essential Functions:

• Scrape, rinse, and load dishes, pans, and utensils into the dish machine, or wash by hand
• Correctly places and stores clean equipment, dishes, and utensils in assigned storage area
• Stocks serving stations, cupboards, refrigerators, and other assigned areas with necessary dishes and utensils
• Ensures work areas remain safe and clean
• Cleaning machines and appliances used in the kitchen
• Empty trash containers, as needed
• May assist in cleaning and preparing various food for cooking/serving, as directed
• May assist in housekeeping duties to maintain order and sanitary conditions in the kitchen

Requirements

Expectation of Service: This is a non-exempt 40 hour per week position. Regular and punctual attendance is required.

Physical Requirements:  

• Prolonged periods of walking or standing
• Must be able to bend, stoop, and wipe frequently
• Must frequently immerse hands in water
• Must be able to work in a hot and damp environment
