The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
The USAC Personal Safety Division (PSD) Sales Operations Leader plays an essential role to ensure our sales organization is enabled to effectively and efficiently grow sales. By working closely with division leadership as well as other key functions, you will play a pivotal role to implement many of the Commercial Excellence initiatives to drive growth within your assigned division. In addition, you will drive improvement projects across SIBG and will work with people across many work areas and departments to create solutions.
As a USAC PSD Sales Operations Leader, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
- Drives and/or designs customer facing data management processes and sales analytics to support strategic and operational business objectives. Provides input and leadership into organizational design and refinements of owned processes for greatest efficiency and effectiveness.
- Leads projects to continuously improve efficiency and competitiveness (projects could be related to: coverage models, sales analytics, variable incentive compensation, agent commissions, customer master data, account classification, indirect data processing (point of sale and charge backs), customer relationship management, territory planning/mapping/ forecasting, sales prospecting, sales rep issue resolution, sales inquiries, sample budgets, order expedites, CRM entries, sales productivity tools, training, etc.)
- Coaches sales and division leadership on objective setting, performance management, development, sales activities, motivating and training and coaching, as well as leading for change.
- Drives and coaches Global Sales Incentive Compensation Framework and Sales Performance Management structure with sales leaders
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start)
- Seven (7) combined years of experience in sales, sales operations, business analytics, marketing, business development and/or business operations in a public, private, government, or military environment
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
- Proficiency with Salesforce CRM tool and analytics
- Experience in Personal Safety Division
- Five (5) years of Sales or Sales Operations experience in a private, public, government or military environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Work location:
- Work location: This role follows an on-site working model, requiring the employee to work at least four days a week at the 3M Center in Maplewood, MN OR 3M London, ON, Canada
- Travel: May include up to 10%
- Relocation: May be authorized
