Job Summary

The RN Supervisor will lead clinical operations for home infusion patients while also guiding a team of Nurses through virtual education and support. This role balances direct patient care, team leadership, and administrative oversight, and plays a pivotal part in coordinating pharmacy nursing operations, optimizing EMR usage, and upholding clinical excellence.

 Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the care of patients receiving home infusion services
  • Conduct virtual education sessions and mentor teach nurses
  • Participate in shared patient visits with team members
  • Coordinate scheduling and staff assignments to ensure timely service delivery
  • Generate and analyze reports using EMR platforms (Netsmart, Cerner)
  • Coordinate  pharmacy on-call program administration
  • Participate in administrative call
  • Oversee completion and accuracy of time sheets and payroll
  • Facilitate goal-setting sessions and lead performance evaluations for team members

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of clinical experience required. 3+ years' experience in Home Care or Home Infusion services strongly preferred.
  • Previous supervisory experience within a healthcare setting preferred.
  • Requires graduation from an accredited academic program in area of specialization, including nursing, physical therapy, occupational therapy, or social work.
  • Requires current State of Indiana license in area of specialization, including nursing, physical therapy, occupational therapy, or social work.
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider Certification required. Other advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
  • Current Indiana driver's license, proof of insurance and a safe driving record required. American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider Certification required. Other advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies. 
  • Current Indiana driver's license, proof of insurance and a safe driving record required.
  • INS or AVA certification (or ability to complete within 3 years) preferred.
  • Proficient in:
    • Netsmart and Cerner EMR systems
    • Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
