An influential part of Moderna's global procure-to-pay and procurement community, the Senior Specialist, Vendor Master Data, focuses on the vital tasks of managing and improving vendor data interactions. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth and compliant operation of vendor onboarding and data management across our global operations.
Here’s What You’ll Do:
Your key responsibilities will be:
Swiftly onboard suppliers while conducting due diligence and validating documentation, ensuring both strategy and execution are prioritized.
Maintain and update the Vendor Master database, pushing beyond traditional limits to achieve excellence.
Develop and provide training to enhance system user competencies and ensure smooth operations.
Design streamlined process flows and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for Vendor Master Data management.
Your responsibilities will also include:
Ensuring compliance with procurement, finance, and data management controls, including SOX compliance.
Identifying and implementing process improvements within the vendor data domain.
Leading project activities related to Vendor Master Data from start to finish, embodying leadership in innovation and strategic alignment.
Developing system architecture understanding and efficiency, focusing on tools like ARIBA, MDG, and SAP.

Here’s What You’ll Bring to the Table
Bachelor’s degree.
4+ years of experience in vendor master data processes
Proficiency with financial systems including SAP, MDG, and Ariba.
Excellent language skills in Polish and English, both written and verbal. Proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
Solid organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
Team player with strong management skills.
Strong communication skills for interactions with internal customers and external vendors, both in writing and verbally.
Independence in managing respective responsibilities and working with limited daily supervision.
Proactive and solution-oriented with a strong customer service mindset.
Deep understanding of the critical role and impact of master data within the organization.
