Your Role
The Pharmacy Triage and Action Group (TAG) supports the pharmacy modular solution in project and issue management, business analysis, and business operations. The Program Coordinator, Experienced will report to the Manager of Pharmacy TAG. In this role you will support intake of new pharmacy production stabilization issues for pharmacy modular solution, coordinate issue management activities related to assigned issues and tasks, provide regular status updates to the Pharmacy Production Stabilization team on all open issues assigned to your functional area, ensure timely and accurate resolution of issues and tasks. This position works closely with the Pharmacy Production Stabilization team, cross-functionally with other teams within Blue Shield, as well as external vendor partners.
Your Work
In this role, you will:
- Be responsible for strategic alignment and integration across projects/programs, from initiation through delivery, in support of business unit process and administrative efficiency
- Define projects required to support programs and partners to ensure their implementation on time, within budget and with benefits realized
- Participate cross-functionally in business planning to support business unit strategy
- Be responsible for large/complex projects/programs
- Exercise independent judgement in developing methods, techniques and evaluation criterion for obtaining results
Manage intake for production stabilization issues related to pharmacy modular solution and develop initial impact assessments for small to medium issues
Coordinate and drive issue management activities for small to medium issues related to modular solution
Provide regular status updates on all open issues to key stakeholders
Partner with external vendors to ensure timely and accurate resolution of pharmacy production stabilization issues related to pharmacy modular solution
Coordinate and oversee external vendor tasks, solutions, and timelines related to pharmacy modular solution production stabilization efforts

Your Knowledge and Experience
Requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Requires at least 3 years of prior relevant experience
Requires good understanding of pharmacy benefit management operations
Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
Good interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills
Required experience using MS Office tools including Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and MS Project
Experience working with external vendors a plus
