We are hiring! AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Senior Civil/ Structural Designer to join our Kirkland, WA office.

The Designer is responsible for supporting and leading engineer project teams, with the development of foundation and structural plans & details. This position could be a Hybrid or Remote work opportunity within the US or may be based in one of our Office locations throughout the US.

How will you contribute to the team?

• Working with engineers to produce civil and structural design of power generation facilities including concrete, structural steel support structures, foundation design, and civil site development design. 
• Provide design activities in accordance with applicable codes and standards, including AtkinsRéalis’ policies and procedures, such as Safety, Environmental, Quality Assurance and Quality Control.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new Software’s.
• Ability to succeed in a team environment.
• Maintaining good working relationships with internal groups that support projects.
• Strong client focus.

What will you contribute?

• 8yrs to 10yrs of Experience in Civil/Structural Design.
• Previous experience in Industrial, Petrochemical, and Oil & Gas industries.
• Proficient in AutoCAD.
• Proficient in 3D modeling with Revit and Tekla Structures. Tekla Structures is the main structural tool for 3D modeling.  Smart Plant 3D is a main component for multi discipline 3D model coordination.
• Revit experience is ideal as this is a new software that is being implemented. 
• Civil 3D (not required but would be ideal).
• Cloud Worx (not required but would be ideal).
• A high level of interpersonal communication skills, including a strong command of the English language with good written and oral communication skills.

Expected compensation range is between $66,000 - $115,000 annually depending on skills, experience, and geographical location.

Upon acceptance of an offer, all candidates must go through a drug screen test and background check. AtkinsRéalis is a federal contractor which mandates a satisfactory background screening report and drug test that supersedes state laws.
