Full Stack Software Developer

Company Description

pureIntegration, a technology consulting firm with 18+ years of experience servicing Fortune 100 clients, is seeking a Full Stack Developer (70% Back End -30% Front End). We are looking for a self-starter full-stack developer who can develop microservices, test, build, and deploy to the cloud environment on a bigger scale across multiple teams.

Location: Remote

Work Arrangement:  Full Time

Work Authorization: OPT, CPT, H1B, GC, US Citizens. We don’t accept or work with C2C contractors.

• Front-end Web development – JavaScript, HTML, CSS3, Angular, React Js, Kotlin
• Unit Testing - JUnit, Mockito
• AWS – S3, EC2, EKS, Lambdas
• CI/CD - Concourse, Jenkins, Ansible, CloudFoundry, Terraform
• Monitoring - Prometheus, ELK, Splunk
• Linux Commands and Scripting
• Source code repository: GitHub, Bitbucket, GitLab
• Knowledge - Design Patterns, Performance, and Scalability Strategies

Responsibilities:  

• Understand the roadmap, and translate it into Epics, Features, and Stories.
• Design and document the solution architecture.
• Develop or enhance and test the application's user interface and microservices. 
• Actively participate in all the scrum meetings, size the stories accurately, work on the stories independently, and deliver them on time.
• Flexible to work on new technologies and tools as needed.
• Actively communicate and collaborate with the team via Slack, Teams, etc.
• Monitor and maintain the operational readiness of Middleware Applications, including applications hosted in the AWS cloud.
• Identify opportunities for system enhancements to enhance functionality and/or simplify system administration. Facilitate and develop plans for application changes (including defect fixes, enhancements, and/or configuration changes).
• Configure and test changes to the system, including reports, security access, and workflow. Perform/Coordinate configuration changes to the production environment.
• Work closely with BA/QA team members to create test plans and ensure that issues are properly identified, fixed, and tested.

Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience developing enterprise applications working on all tiers of the application.
• An experienced mentor who can work in a collaborative environment and coach other team members on coding practices, design principles, and implementation patterns that lead to high-quality, maintainable solutions.
• Services – Expert-level implementation skills in building highly scalable services (SOAP and REST)
• Spring – Expert-level implementation skills with the Core Spring Framework and including other sub-projects like Spring JMS, Spring Security, Spring Data, and Spring Integration.
• Skilled at building modern REST Web services
• Experience with additional scripting languages such as Linux, Python • AWS services – S3, Lambdas, ECS, EKS, etc.
• A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Typically reports to a project leader or manager.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, related field, or relevant work experience.
