Job Details
Proctors administer a variety of assessments for the Sidney Kimmel Medical College. Proctoring includes delivering the exam, relaying instructions to students, time keeping, maintaining an appropriate testing environment, and facilitating support should a question or problem arise. Proctors are responsible for supervising and monitoring students to ensure academic integrity of the exam. They are also required to manage the testing roster (for NBME sponsored assessments) and responsible for reporting any technical issues or non-standard testing conditions.( *This position is a 4 hours a week in two, 2 hour increments* )

Essential Functions
- Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the values of Jefferson.
- Prepares room for test administration including projection of instructions, secure environment, quiet environment
- Uses several software programs including ExamSoft’s Examplify, the NBME’s proctors’ portal, Microsoft’s Office 365 and have a working knowledge of Apple’s iOS.
- Manages timely starts and closure of exams.
- Ensures a quiet, distraction free environment for the students. Communicate issues to the Student Assessment Director for assistance with noise abatement or other distracting issues.
- Completes all required documentation.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
Education:
High School Diploma or GED. Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Experience:
Experience in higher education.
