DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES?

The ideal candidate will provide on-site Electrical support through technical leadership and continuous optimization of process improvement projects within the highly automated Hot Dip Galvanizing and Annealing Line to meet the business goals of AM/NS Calvert.

 

The Basics:

• High School Diploma/General Equivalency Diploma (GED)
• Proficient with:
  • Motor Control utilizing Variable Frequency Drives, including regulation via PLC systems
  • Industrial communication systems, such as LAN systems, Profibus, Profinet, Canbus
  • Continuous optimization of process equipment systems utilizing process data acquisition systems, such as iba Analyzer
• Familiar with Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Excel, Teams, Word, PowerPoint)
   

The Extras:

 

• Preferred of 3 years of direct experience in electrical maintenance in manufacturing, commissioning, or service for electrical systems, preferred in steel or similar heavy industry
• Experienced with industrial instrumentation and Human Machine Interface Systems
• Experienced with industrial process automation systems, with focus on Programmable Logic Controllers
• Familiar with Programmable Logic Controllers(PLCs), such as GE P80i, Siemens S7, Siemens TIA Portal, logi.CAD
• Working knowledge of Industrial Safety Systems preferred
• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, Industrial Electricity or related field
