Senior Prototype Leader

• Prepare inputs for budget forecast together with Cost Containment Manager, PJM, SPM, Finance, and the Manager

• Regularly monitor material budget updates to meet financial goals for material and prototype expenses

• Create and manage yearly capitalization of BIF (in-house and outsourced) in line with process investment optimization approach

• Manage processes in accordance with company standards (BOMs tool tracker, standard planning/forecasting, KPIs, etc.)

• Communicate project information to suppliers including timelines, deliverables, and lifetime expectations

• Ensure communication alignment between various stakeholders including the customer organization

• Participate in the upstream phase of new products and processes (RFQ phase)

• Identify opportunities for increased effectiveness and efficiency

• Demonstrate personal development of the team

• Develop skills in others/suppliers by showing excellent attitude toward internal/external customers/suppliers

• Perform assigned tasks in compliance with the quality system valid for Aptiv organization standards, Technical Center in Krakow

Requirements:

• Solid professional experience on project coordination related role

• Purchasing experience is an asset

• Excellent organization and communication skills

• Mobility and readiness to travel within EMEA region and global

• Fluent command of English

• Bachelor’s Degree from commercial or technical university

• Ability to work in an international and fast-paced environment

• Very good negotiation skills

• Good knowledge of project finances

• Knowledge of MS Office

• Ability to lead and coordinate the work of team members
