Position Overview

The St Paul, Minnesota office of the DAVEY RESOURCE GROUP, Inc., has opportunities for Seasonal Environmental Technicians. Davey Resource Group is a leader in the natural resource and forestry consulting industries throughout the US.

Job Duties

What You’ll Do: 

• Cultivate your green career with us! 
• Enhance the appearance and value of properties through execution of daily grounds and turf maintenance. 
• Properly plant, trim, mow, weed, mulch, fertilize and so much more. 
• Learn to diagnose insect, disease, and cultural/environmental turf and shrub conditions. 
• Maintain open communication with management and clients to provide feedback on landscape needs. 
• Drive, use, maintain and properly operate landscape equipment. 

Qualifications

• Two-to-four-year degree in Environmental Science, Biology, Botany, Ecology, Forestry, Horticulture, Hydrology, Soil Science, or related discipline or equivalent experience in similar position. Current students are encouraged to apply for summer seasonal work.
• Driver’s license and clean driving record are required.
• Ability and willingness to travel
• Capability of working outdoors and hiking in varying terrain and weather conditions

Additional Information

Seasonal hourly position with potential for overtime pay. Compensation based on qualifications and experience. Pre-employment Drug Screen and Social Security verification required.
