The Learning and Development Senior Manager plays a critical leadership role in shaping the organization's culture of continuous growth and performance. Reporting to the Director of HR Operations, this role is accountable for driving high-impact learning and development initiatives that directly support the organization’s goals, mission, and future direction. Working in close partnership with leaders and teams across the business, the Senior Manager assesses evolving capability needs, optimizes learning processes, and delivers enterprise-wide solutions that enhance employee effectiveness and organizational agility. By aligning development programs with evolving business needs and employee feedback, this role ensures that learning remains relevant, engaging, and a key driver of organizational effectiveness and cultural alignment. This role is key to ensuring that learning is not only accessible and relevant, but also a powerful lever for long-term success.

Key Responsibilities:
• Demonstrated success and a proven track record in professional/life experience in specific job functions, projects, or industries. Military service can substitute for professional experience and/or formal education requirements.
• Drives learning and development programs and initiatives across business units, including technical and professional development offerings.
• Partners with the Director of HR Operations to develop and implement a multi-year vision and roadmap for learning; consolidates existing programs and identifies third-party partners as needed.
• Works closely with the Director of HR Operations to conduct organizational assessments, climate surveys, and other diagnostics to identify development needs and align learning initiatives with employee experience and culture.
• Serves as the subject matter expert on learning and development, conducting needs assessments through research, interviews, surveys, focus groups, and business consultation.
• Manages the design and implementation of learning program policies and procedures that support scalable and effective organizational development.
• Collaborates with the Director of HR Operations to use data, feedback, and industry best practices to guide learning strategies, leadership development, and overall learning experiences.
• Facilitate team-building sessions and deliver assessment tools (e.g., Predictive Index) to support team and leadership effectiveness.
• Partners with the Director of HR Operations to develop innovative leadership development solutions, leveraging blended learning approaches.
• Collaborate with the Performance Manager to build a career pathways framework and identify learning opportunities aligned with employee development goals.
• Designs and delivers learning programs in various formats, including instructor-led sessions, group discussions, simulations, and digital content.
• Continuously reviews the effectiveness and relevance of learning content, measuring impact on job performance and making improvements as needed.
• Manages vendor relationships and maintains an inventory of learning programs within the Learning Management System (LMS).
• Keeps current with trends and emerging practices in learning and development to ensure program relevance and innovation.
• Completes all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; or demonstrated success and a proven track record in professional/life experience in specific job functions, projects, or industries, and military service can substitute for the formal education requirements.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in Human Resources, including demonstrated leadership knowledge and capabilities
• Minimum of seven (7) years of experience specifically in learning and development
