Technical Program Manager: Vehicle Production (USA)

We are seeking a Technical Program Manager to oversee supplier communications, manage production timelines, and facilitate collaboration between our US-based engineering/design team and manufacturing partners in Asia. The ideal candidate is fluent in Mandarin and English, has strong technical problem-solving abilities, and is willing to travel frequently to ensure seamless operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the primary liaison with suppliers and manufacturing partners, ensuring clear communication and issue resolution.

• Translate and interpret technical discussions between internal teams and suppliers (Mandarin/English).

• Work closely with engineering and operations teams to align manufacturing with design intent.

• Lead program management efforts to keep vehicle production on track and meet key milestones.

• Troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing, quality, and supply chain issues in real time.

• Travel frequently to Asia to strengthen supplier relationships and oversee production.

Required Qualifications:

• Fluent in Mandarin and English (both spoken and written).

• Background in engineering, supply chain, or technical program management.

• Strong organizational skills, including note-taking and document management.

• Experience working with Chinese manufacturers and suppliers.

• Proven ability to troubleshoot technical and operational challenges in real-time.

• Highly motivated, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, international environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in automotive, electronics, or light electric vehicle manufacturing.

• Familiarity with Asia-based suppliers and manufacturing ecosystems.
