Senior Business Analyst

through Elliott. The funds that make up the capital provided by Elliott to Prosperity have no maturity date and therefore no time horizon to exit. This allows Prosperity to grow at their own pace over a long period of time.

Prosperity’s asset management team established a distinct business, PAM, under the Prosperity umbrella representing the investment management and asset origination team of Prosperity in 2022. In this capacity, PAM manages over $10 billion in assets for Prosperity’s insurance and reinsurance businesses. As
part of the company’s vision to continue its expansion of its insurance business and grow to $25 billion in assets by 2025, Prosperity has entered into a definitive merger agreement to acquire National Western Life Group, Inc. At the close of the transaction, expected in the first half of 2024, Prosperity will have more than $25 billion assets under management and will be servicing more than 1 million policies.

The Senior Business Analyst will have direct responsibility for leading multiple technology and operational initiatives for the Prosperity Life Insurance Group.
The Senior Business Analyst will work directly with internal and external stakeholders on activities such as: organizing and leading initiatives supporting business goals, implementing, and developing business process flows and delivery plan to support the strategic direction of the business. This role will be responsible for developing business analysis procedures and best practices, create standardized way on documenting business flows and provide training on the same. Selected candidate will have working experience in digital delivery following agile methodology.
The Senior Business Analyst is critical liaisons between Technology and other areas such as, operations, Finance, Actuarial, Sales, etc. to ensure sound business solutions are formed and implemented with quality. This role is responsible for facilitating the flow of ideas and information between departments.
Skills:
• Facilitating business need identification
• Developing business requirements for the business/technology solutions that will allow the stakeholders and internal departments to become more efficient and help technical team in development and quality assurance team in testing.
• Estimating implementation costs and efforts
• Documenting flows and procedures and creating relevant user journey maps and customer experience maps.
• Ensuring quality of solutions delivered (leading user acceptance testing)
• Identifying, developing, and executing continuous improvement opportunities
• Other support to operations areas as identified.
• Life and Annuity Insurance experience in areas for New Business, Agency / Agent management, payment processing and disbursements.

Responsibilities:
• Facilitate collaboration sessions with various project teams to identify and document business requirements.
• Working experience in delivering transformative initiatives leveraging agile digital delivery.
• Facilitate daily QA defect analysis meetings and produce daily documentation including meeting minutes, defect logs and status reports.
• Working experience in collaboration tools for creating flowcharts/process maps using tools like MIRO, Figma, Visio, PowerPoint, or similar
• Work directly with the system end-users, SME's and technical staff to translate complex processing information into effective requirements.
• Interview business users, generate requirement artifacts, test plans review and coordinate/conduct UAT.
• Facilitate daily scrum calls to identify and remove any impediments, working close
