About the role

The 340B Program Analyst is supports participation in the 340B Program for all 340B Covered Entities and ensuring that all use of 340B throughout the organization is fully compliant. Responsibilities will include 340B compliance reviews, program auditing, maintaining registration and enrollment, and ensuring participation qualifications are met and maintained. Responsibilities could include compliant medication procurement, billing and inventory management, prevention of diversion of 340B drugs, monitoring and assessing the potential institutional impact of new and proposed 340B regulations and changes to 340B rulings and interpretations. Responsible for adherence to and maintenance of 340B related policies and procedures. Hybrid – Position will require individual be in office at least 1 day per week

  • Serves as a compliance expert on 340B Program details, policies, and procedures.
  • Acts as the liaison with necessary affiliated departments to ensure 340B Program integrity.
  • Provides expertise with the 340B Program to staff and participants regarding ongoing compliance.
  • Development of standard work, reporting, and procedures to support compliance and management of the 340B Program
  • Routinely monitors monthly and annual reports on 340B participation that clearly document utilization, savings, problem areas, and exceptions or discrepancies, to be passed on to pharmacy leadership and administration.
  • Develops routine reports that are a by-product of the compliance process and software, allowing for concise information to be communicated to the leadership responsible for 340B program management.
  • Support completion of annual audits or audit by regulators or manufacturers
  • Develops and maintains internal relationships (accounting, legal) as needed.
  • Establishes a routine approach to updating the CDM/crosswalk for new products and product changes to ensure both the accuracy of the utilization report and the efficiency and accuracy of the charge process.
  • Assists in implementing new software packages and other changes in business practice based on changing regulations and policies.
  • Actively engages with leadership and participates in decision-making processes related to the implementation of new 340B processes.

Must haves:
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) Credential is required.  3-5 years experience in clinical or retail pharmacy positions and at least 2 years working in the 340B program preferred.
• Requires a high level of interpersonal, problem solving, and analytic skills.
• Requires effective written and verbal communication skills in both individual and group settings to ensure professional correspondence and presentation to all levels of individuals within the organization (operational team members, leadership internal and external to Revenue Cycle, and other external individuals/groups).
• Requires the ability to establish and maintain collaborative working relationships with others.
• Requires ability to set and adjust defined priorities as necessary and to process multiple tasks at once.
• Requires strong attention to detail, problem solving and critical thinking skills.
• Requires ability to work with and maintain confidential information.

•2 years of experience with Indiana University Health Revenue Cycle Services strongly preferred.
• Requires expert knowledge of revenue cycle requirements and regulations.
• Requires a high level of interpersonal, problem solving, and analytic skills.
• Requires effective written and verbal communication skills in both individual and group settings.
• Requires the ability to promote teamwork and develop team members.
• Requires the ability to take initiative and meet objectives.
