<p> </p> <p>RWE Supply &amp; Trading GmbH</p> <p> To start as soon as possible, full time, permanent</p> <p> </p> <p>Functional area: IT / Digital </p> <p> </p> <p>Cloud and Data Centre are part of IT Infra – who provide infrastructure services to the RWE Group of companies. RWE has a Cloud First and Multi Cloud strategy – C&amp;DC support both AWS and Azure Landing zones as well as traditional “on-premise” data centres, providing 24x7 platform services and cross functional services, specifically for Compute, database storage and other infra services, along with its Managed Service Provider partners.</p> <p> </p> <ul> <li>Being the subject matter expert for RWE’s low-code/no-code services, including MS Power Platform &amp; Airtable and other market leading products as needed to compliment the service. </li> <li>Working with our managed service providers to ensure the stability &amp; availability of the platform, as well as providing additional supporting services, such as best practice, training, strong governance and general support for staff. </li> <li>Develop, build, configure, integrate, unit test &amp; release solutions for RWE's C&amp;DC LC/NC Platform / Services based on the  functional &amp; technical specifications, for use not only within the team but for the use of other RWE teams. </li> <li>Implement and manage continuous delivery systems and methodologies in RWE's C&amp;DC LC/NC Platforms / Services </li> <li>Assist business customer groups in making best use of the platform for development of their own apps &amp; collaboration with other users &amp; developers</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Communicate and define RWE IT technology requirements and standards to the MSP teams and ensure adherence as well as to provide technical leadership to the teams </li> <li>Define and maintain the C&amp;DC Operations managed service work packages ensuring RWE IT requirements are correctly translated into MSP deliverables </li> <li>Represent RWE IT at Change Advisory Boards as required with a focus on C&amp;DC Services </li> <li>Play an active and/or coordinating role in Problem, Incident and Change activities. This  includes: </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Actively managing related incidents in Service Now (RWE’s ITSM tool) </li> <li>Actively managing incidents raised with Service Providers (CSP and/or MSP) </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Understand, implement, and automate security controls, governance processes, and compliance        validations.</li> <li>Define and deploy monitoring, metrics, and logging systems in RWE's C&amp;DC Platforms / Services </li> <li>Implement systems that are highly available, scalable, and self-healing in RWE's C&amp;DC Platforms / Services </li> </ul> <ul> <li>This role will act as Product Owner for specific topics for LC/NC platforms, as part of platform development &amp; change work in line with scrum-agile methods </li> </ul> <p>Your powerful skills </p> <ul> <li>In depth knowledge of one or more of the following technologies, will be a focus of these multiple roles: </li> </ul> <ul> <li>MS Power platform &amp; other low-code-no-code platforms</li> <li>Azure Platform / Services  <ul> <li>Integration topics (cross platform) </li> <li>Collaboration &amp; Development platforms &amp; services – Azure &amp; AWS DevOps, SharePoint, Jira, Confluence</li> </ul> </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Knowledge &amp; experience of good development practice &amp; full software development lifecycle</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code environments &amp; tooling such as (but not limited to): </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Ansible, Cloud Formation, Terraform HCL, Packer with HCL, Azure DevOps suite, including Repos &amp;  Pipelines, Python for Lambda, HCL, JSON, YAML </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Good knowledge of ITIL processes / model and of the DevOps model </li> <li>Knowledge of End-to-end application operations processes </li> <li>Knowledge of Asset and Configuration Management and Incident and Problem Management </li> <li>Broad knowledge and understanding of IT security concepts and methodologies  </li> <li>Broad knowledge of IP networking, VPN's, DNS, load balancing and firewalling. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Broad understanding of the RWE's business and the strategic drivers which influence the C&amp;DC       environment requirements. </li> <li>Experience of managing various and conflicting technical and business demands </li> <li>Able to assess impact and communicate to managed service, infrastructure and application teams </li> <li>Self-reliant and able to work to own initiatives </li> <li>Ability to work under pressure – patient, tolerant and resilient </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Fluency in spoken and written English, including technical and business terms </li> <li>Cultural awareness and willingness to travel (largely between UK and Germany)  </li> </ul> <p>Advantageous, but not a must</p> <ul> <li> <p>Knowledge of ITIL processes / model and of the DevOps model </p> </li> <li> <p>Knowledge of End-to-end application operations processes
