Summary

SRP’s marketing and communications team is looking for a college intern with interest in digital communications, website administration and website user experience. This position will support content strategy and publishing on SRP’s websites and blog and will work alongside UX designers, researchers and content creators. 

 

What You'll Do

  • Updating content on SRP’s public-facing websites. 

  • Reviewing technical QA and accessibility dashboards. 

  • Participating in larger cross-functional projects. 

Education

College level coursework (100+) from an accredited institution will be evaluated on an individual basis according to the skill/level to determine if applicable to the position by management.

Additional Information

  • Major should be related to online marketing or communications, advertising, integrated marketing, UX design or similar.

  • Strong problem solving and conceptual thinking abilities 
  • Strong writing, editing and proofreading skills 
  • Ability to prioritize work effectively 
  • Ability to work both collaboratively and independently to deliver high quality results 
  • Able to quickly learn technology tools 
  • Ability to prioritize, schedule and meet deadlines 
  • Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) 
  • Technology familiarity and understanding 
  • Knowledge and experience with web content management systems (CMS) a plus 

 

Work Schedule and Pay Structure: 

  • Minimum of 15 hours per week. 
  • Hours are scheduled between Monday-Friday (8 a.m. to 5 p.m.) and can be worked around your class schedule. 
  • Pay rate is $18.00 per hour for an undergraduate intern and $20.00 per hour for a graduate intern. 

 

 

Hybrid Workplace

SRP currently offers a hybrid workplace, which allows employees whose jobs can be performed remotely, and who have sufficient technical capability, to telework up to three days per week. Although teleworking is available, all employees must live and work in Arizona. We are taking steps to protect the health and well-being of all team members, and by following a number of health and safety protocols, to reduce the risk of the coronavirus (COVID-19).
