Lead SAP Financial Accounting Specialist

<h2 class="lumesse-section-header lumesse-section-header-0 jdesc-section-header"><span style="color: rgb(0, 32, 96);">What The Role Is</span></h2> <p>We are seeking a Senior SAP Financial Accounting Specialist with 5–7 years of experience and strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA. Reporting to the Senior Manager, IT Applications, the Senior SAP Financial Accounting Specialist will have hands-on experience in Treasury, Accounting, Finance, and Tax (TAFT), and will support the business post-implementation by ensuring system stability, optimizing processes, and assisting end-users.</p> <p>Knowledge of Treasury, Fixed Assets, and Lease Accounting is a plus. Industry experience in Oil &amp; Gas, Utilities, and Renewable Energy is preferred.</p> <p>If you don’t meet 100% of the qualifications but see yourself contributing, please submit your resume.</p> <h2 class="lumesse-section-header lumesse-section-header-1 jdesc-section-header"><span style="color: rgb(0, 32, 96);">What You'll Be Doing</span></h2> <ul> <li>Provide day-to-day support for SAP S/4HANA Accounting, Treasury, and related modules.</li> <li>Lead requirements gathering, design, configuration, testing, and go-live for Ariba modules.</li> <li>Conduct workshops with Treasury, Accounting, Financial, and Tax teams, identifying process improvements and enhancements</li> <li>Collaborate with offshore delivery teams and stakeholders, providing technical and functional oversight</li> <li>Troubleshoot and resolve issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.</li> <li>Should have exposure in Enable Payment process, Establish Closing Schedule, Close Period, Process Year-End Adjustments, Carry Balance Forward, Close Year-End, and 1099 Processing.</li> <li>Maintain and validate master data, including Chart of Accounts, Bank Accounts, and Business Partners.</li> <li>Support testing and validation for upgrades, patches, and new functionalities.</li> <li>Conduct user training and create documentation for processes and best practices.</li> <li>Facilitate integration error resolution (e.g., Banking, Vertex, etc.) and ensure data consistency across systems.</li> <li>Assist with compliance and audit requirements related to finance, treasury, accounting, etc. processes.</li> </ul> <h2 class="lumesse-section-header lumesse-section-header-2 jdesc-section-header"><span style="color: rgb(0, 32, 96);">What You'll Bring</span></h2> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Accounting, or related field.</li> <li>8-10 years of experience in supporting SAP S/4HANA (Accounting, Treasury, Fixed Asset).</li> <li>Strong understanding of
