PURPOSE OF POSITION: A Bartender is responsible for interacting with guests and ensuring they have an exceptional experience when dining at Deer Valley.
**You will be supporting one of several restaurant locations**
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Greet guests and take beverage orders
Prepare alcoholic drinks and other bar beverages as ordered and in compliance with Utah Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control laws
Check identification of guests to verify age requirements for purchase of alcohol
Handle an assigned house bank and follow all cash handling procedures
Collect payment for drinks served and balance all receipts
Ensure that the assigned bar area is fully equipped with tools and products needed
Prepare purchase requisitions as needed to replenish supplies
Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of beverage products, menus, and promotions
Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
MUST BE 21 YEARS OLD
Possess a S.M.A.R.T. Card certification and Utah Food Handlers certification
Must be able to work well with other employees, be able to learn quickly and handle pressure well
Must be flexible with schedule and available to work weekends and holidays
Able to work in a fast-paced, sometimes stressful, environment
Outstanding guest relation skills
Able to lift and carry 25-50 lbs., stand for long periods of time, withstand frequent up-and-down/ twisting/repetitive movements, and reach with hands/arms to handle objects, tools or controls

PAY RATE:
Pay: $11 per hour plus tips
