Description

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic National Account Liaison to join our team. The National Account Liaison will play a crucial role in building and maintaining strong relationships with our national accounts, ensuring client satisfaction, and fostering business growth. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in account management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Client Transition Support
  • Cultivate and maintain strong internal relationships to facilitate a smooth transition of clients to the operations team post-sale.
  • Document essential client information and actively participate in client extensions or reviews as needed.
  • Oversee all third party sales relationships for Continental.
Continuous Improvement and Relationship Management: 
  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities and optimizing existing tools and resources.
  • Establish and nurture robust relationships with national accounts, acting as the primary point of contact.
  • Address inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and ensure overall client satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align strategies and provide comprehensive support to meet the evolving needs of national accounts.
  • Advocate and represent both Continental and external stakeholders to ensure interests of both parties are represented and addressed.
  • Demonstrate courage when addressing conflicting priorities.
Account Management and Strategy
  • Conduct regular account reviews, evaluating performance and presenting insightful analyses to stakeholders.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
  • Coordinate and lead regular meetings with other national account representatives and the Senior Vice President to discuss initiatives and explore growth opportunities.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess account performance and identify areas for optimization.
  • Collaborate closely with the sales team to identify and pursue upselling and cross-selling opportunities within national accounts.
Compliance and Policy Adherence
  • Demonstrate a commitment to respecting company policies and procedures while executing core responsibilities and introducing new solutions.

WHO YOU ARE

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in sales, business marketing or similar.
  • Experience in the refreshments or contract management industry preferred. 
  • Five years sales or operations experience required, hospitality and/or foodservice strongly preferred. 
  • Results oriented and flexible; takes action as soon as need arises and can demonstrate positive results; steadily follows through on tasks; able to find a balance between the business requirements and meeting client requests; absorbs new information quickly and translates key points into positive outcomes.
  • Has a passion for sales and is skilled in needed areas; good at visualizing how to meet customer needs and package the offerings that best meet their requirements. Demonstrated ability to engage and sell proactively, gaining buy-in, respect, trust, and accountability to achieve goals
  • High energy level; has demonstrated resilience, endurance and persistence throughout career.
  • Can-do attitude; stays positive, even in the face of adversity; sets right tone for others.  Collaborative in work style with others both inside and outside organization; respectful of what others can contribute.

  • Strong proficiency with electronic communication, Microsoft Office Suite, and related systems used in the industry.
