<h2 class="lumesse-section-header lumesse-section-header-0 jdesc-section-header"><span style="color: rgb(0, 32, 96);">What The Role Is</span></h2> <p>Reporting to the Manager of Wind Accounting, the Senior Accountant is responsible for financial data management, journal entries, account reconciliations, timely completion, and assistance with monthly and quarterly internal financial reporting, internal controls, and accounting for various components of Clearway. This person will also be responsible for other ad hoc projects as assigned, which will cover all aspects of accounting for Clearway’s Wind renewable energy projects. The primary objective is to account for and report on multiple utility-scale wind ownership structures.</p> <p>If you don’t meet 100% of the qualifications but see yourself contributing, please submit your resume.</p> <h2 class="lumesse-section-header lumesse-section-header-1 jdesc-section-header"><span style="color: rgb(0, 32, 96);">What You'll Be Doing</span></h2> <ul> <li>Execute the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close process within clearly specified time frames, following established internal control processes and procedures.</li> <li>Perform analytical functions necessary to achieve an accurate and timely general ledger month-end close. My duties include analyzing income statements, balance sheets, and equity transactions, preparing financial statements, and providing general accounting support for financed and non-financed projects.</li> <li>Utilize financial reporting software to create, maintain, and update reporting templates and data queries.</li> <li>Prepare and maintain adequate documentation to support financial statement assertions and the performance of internal control over financial reporting.</li> <li>Support the business by providing accurate general ledger account coding for utility-scale wind projects.</li> <li>Support the corporate accounting teams with ad hoc requests, including fixed asset form preparation.</li> <li>Assist with the preparation of quarterly unaudited and annual audited financial statements of multiple wind projects in accordance with GAAP to comply with the reporting requirements of lenders and ownership agreements, which include tax equity and cash equity ownership structures.</li> <li>In close collaboration with other technical accounting professionals, assist with researching technical accounting and reporting matters, accounting principles, and financial reporting rules.</li> <li>Collaborate with and respond to ad hoc requests from key stakeholders within the organization (e.g., Treasury, Portfolio Finance, Asset Management). The financial statements over which this accountant will preside are key deliverables to current and prospective institutional investors
