Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Assist in the research goals of the Field laboratory under the direct supervision of the PI. Manage chemical inventory and ensure the laboratory maintains current safety standards.

Salary Range: $ 28.88 - 46.46

Job Qualifications

Required:

Ability to analyze data using MATLAB, R or Python.

Ability to control hardware peripherals with coding languages such as MATLAB.

Ability to produce graphics to summarize data and experimental results

Ability to work independently on assigned tasks

Ability to keep organized records of analyses and data

High ethical standards in the analysis of data

Strong communication skills

Preferred:

B.S. in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or related field

Strong mechanical ability – able to design and construct equipment

Some experience machining parts (e.g., lathe, mill, drill press).

Previous experience working with neurophysiological datasets or animal behavior

Some knowledge of GitHub or similar version control system

B.S. in some branch of science, engineering, or math
