About the role

The PMO Lead will play a pivotal role in supporting the Future Hub Program Director in ensuring the successful execution and efficiency of workstreams across the program. 

The PMO Lead is accountable for the effectiveness of the PMO function within the Future Hub program and will focus on supporting the program workstreams, and structuring processes to enhance overall program effectiveness.

This role will be hands-on and actively involved, with key responsibilities that include overseeing processes to support program resourcing,  RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies), financial management and program-level reporting.  This includes ensuring robust governance, efficient program processes, and comprehensive support for the Program Director and other senior stakeholders.

The PMO Lead will be responsible for:

  • Providing comprehensive support to the Program Director, including reporting and governance coordination.

  • Implementing and maintaining governance structures that support cross stream effectiveness.

  • Ensuring all program processes are efficient, consistent, and aligned with the program’s strategic objectives.

  • Managing RAID processes effectively to mitigate risks and address issues promptly.

  • Overseeing resource planning processes to coordinate

  • Overseeing financial management to ensure budget and financial efficiency.

  • Facilitate a structured processes to enhance effectiveness of overall program reporting, particularly for the steering committee

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum 15 years experience in leading teams, projects and PMOs

  • Proven experience in leading large scale PMO functions within an enterprise or large-scale transformation programs.

  • Expertise in RAID management, financial oversight, and comprehensive planning.

  • Strong understanding and practical application of agile principles and methodologies.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.

  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate challenges and develop proactive solutions.

  • Proficiency in project management tools and software, as well as a solid understanding of agile methodologies and practices, including Jira and Confluence.

  • Strong financial management skills, with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.

  • Expertise in establishing and maintaining governance frameworks and ensuring compliance with organisational policies and standards.
