Senior Program Manager, Corporate Programs
CoinbaseAbout the role
Ready to be pushed beyond what you think you’re capable of?
At Coinbase, our mission is to increase economic freedom in the world. It’s a massive, ambitious opportunity that demands the best of us, every day, as we build the emerging onchain platform — and with it, the future global financial system.
To achieve our mission, we’re seeking a very specific candidate. We want someone who is passionate about our mission and who believes in the power of crypto and blockchain technology to update the financial system. We want someone who is eager to leave their mark on the world, who relishes the pressure and privilege of working with high caliber colleagues, and who actively seeks feedback to keep leveling up. We want someone who will run towards, not away from, solving the company’s hardest problems.
Our work culture is intense and isn’t for everyone. But if you want to build the future alongside others who excel in their disciplines and expect the same from you, there’s no better place to be.
The Corporate Programs team sits within the Strategy, Execution & Analytics (SEA) function at Coinbase. We leverage program management skills to supercharge execution on the most critical priorities for the business.

- Lead a range of special projects that streamline processes, optimizes tooling or creates improved insights using AI/LLM
- Draft & execute ‘Clear Communication’ plans using appropriate channels/mechanisms, and publish high-quality documentation
- Set a framework to drive accountability across the program establishing strong working relationships with cross-functional teams
- Manage other high-priority programs or projects for the Corporate Programs team as needed
- Potentially hire & build a small team to support risk programs and related operations
What we look for in you (ie. job requirements):
- 7+ years in program management at a leading tech company (ideally fintech)
- Experience in data analysis (e.g. SQL) and building dashboards (e.g. SuperSet, Hex, Looker)
- Experience working directly with product & engineering teams (e.g. familiar with incident process)
- Has led direct reports of program/project managers
- Highly organized with an impeccable attention to detail
- Comfortable with ambiguity, can turn incomplete or even conflicting inputs into clear plans
- Experience working in a high-pressure fast-paced environment
- Clear communicator (both written & verbal) who can facilitate dialogues with senior stakeholders and drive toward outcomes
