Senior SFCC PWA Tech Lead (Contract, Part-Time)

We are seeking a Senior SFCC PWA Tech Lead to guide and execute a hybrid migration from SFRA to PWA. The ideal candidate has led multiple end-to-end SFCC (Salesforce Commerce Cloud) modernization initiatives, bringing both hands-on technical depth and architectural leadership to ensure a scalable, efficient migration strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the planning and execution of a hybrid SFRA → PWA migration
• Define and document the project architecture, integration approach, and tech stack
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to structure the project from the ground up
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and best practices for the development team
• Oversee code quality, performance optimization, and deployment strategies
• Ensure alignment with Salesforce Commerce Cloud standards and PWA best practices

Requirements:

• Proven experience leading multiple SFRA to PWA migrations (preferably hybrid)
• Deep understanding of SFCC architecture, SFRA, PWA Kit, and Headless Commerce
• Strong knowledge of Node.js, React, and Commerce APIs
• Ability to design scalable, performant front-end and back-end solutions
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience in short-term consulting or technical leadership engagements preferred
