Microsoft Senior Technical Consultant

We currently have a career opportunity for a Microsoft AI Business Solutions Senior Technical Consultant to join our team.  This is a remote position, with the successful candidate residing within the continental United States.   

The role of the Microsoft Agentic AI Senior Technical Consultant is for individuals passionate about leveraging Microsoft technologies to deliver impactful business solutions. As a Microsoft Senior Technical Consultant, specializing in Copilot and Microsoft Agentic AI, you will play a key role on project teams by researching, designing, and implementing AI driven business solutions for our customers within the Microsoft Cloud ecosystem.

As a Microsoft Senior Technical Consultant, you will work closely with customer stakeholders and the project team to uncover both explicit and implicit business requirements, educate them on Copilot and Agentic AI best practices, and collaborate with project teams to modernize legacy systems. Your role will be critical in designing, testing, and implementing solutions that deliver measurable business value and align with strategic goals.  

• Execute the solution designs for agents created by using Copilot Studio, AI prompts, Azure AI Foundry, and working knowledge of multiple language models to create intelligent solutions.
• Implement Copilot Governance
• Understanding of Change Management and best practices for deploying M365 Copilot.
• Expertise in developing solutions that use AI, including generative AI and various AI services tailored to meet business objectives.
• Skills in developing multi-agent orchestrated solutions.
• Execute the solution designs for Power Platform solutions, such as Power Apps, and Power Automate.
• Expertise in working with open standards and protocols, including Agent2Agent (A2A) and Model Context Protocol (MCP).
• Understanding of Agent 365, Microsoft Defender, Entra ID, and Purview.
• Work with the Product Owner and/or Business Analysts to understand functional requirements in strategic and operational use cases.
• Develop proof-of-concept projects to validate solution designs.
• Active participation in stakeholder education, discovery, planning, and design sessions.
• Demonstrate the ability to adapt and work with team members of various experience levels.
• Developing data conversion and testing strategies.
• Plan and perform client demos.
• Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, streamline workflows, and support data-informed task execution.
• A solid understanding of AI capabilities and limitations, including ethical considerations, is expected.
• Up to 20% travel possible.

The ideal candidate will have experience in creating Microsoft AI business applications.  You’ll bring the insights that you’ve gained from project implementations using the Microsoft Solution stack to our team.  We’d be thrilled to learn that you also have these core skills, interests and experience:

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience creating business applications.
• Ability to work independently and be self-driven with minimal supervision.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Management Information Systems, or related field.
• Active Microsoft certifications (PL-200, PL-600, AB-900, AB-730, AB-731, AB-100, etc.)
• Experience with M365 Copilot, Copilot Studio, Power Apps, Power Automate, and Microsoft Foundry
• Understanding of SharePoint
• Knowledge of full SDLC, Agile development methodologies, and application development life cycle.
• Strong technical writing and documentation skills.
• Understanding of C#, SQL, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and PowerShell
