Purpose of Role: Customer Service Representative is responsible for being the first point of contact for all customers. Entering orders, quoting parts, and submitting purchase orders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Be the first point of contact to support our customers needs.
• Communicate with internal and external customers in a proactive and supportive manner.
• Audit purchase orders to ensure the proper discount has been applied and verify that all commercial terms and conditions, shipping terms, credits, and taxes are in accordance with company policies
• Email all order acknowledgements to customers and provide shipping info.
• Submit cost updates and item reactivation requests, reviewing the results for accuracy before submitting for sale price determination
• Manage all areas of the spare parts requirement for assigned territory and provide feedback to the Customer
• Work with Engineering and Purchasing to provide quotes and order fulfillment as it relates to pump retrofit to mechanical seal configuration
• Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:

• Experience working with customer / client accounts, reviewing pricing, working with account management database systems
• Providing technical support internally and externally, is a plus.
• Requires the ability to operate a variety of standard business equipment and software, including Microsoft Office, ability to learn SAP, and extensive email.
• Technical aptitude and extreme accuracy.
• Good problem-solving, organization, oral and written communication
• Motivation to please a customer. Good work ethic – proactive. Confidence in own abilities and capable of acting decisively.
• Ability to project and maintain professionalism with a diversity of people is challenging situations.
• 2 year College degree is welcome, but not required.
