Position Summary...

What you'll do...

At Walmart, we're seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager, Facilities Maintenance Operations to oversee the predictive and preventative maintenance of our facilities within a regional area. In this role, you'll lead a team of dedicated technicians, ensuring our buildings operate efficiently and sustainably while providing a safe and comfortable environment for our associates and customers.   Role Detail:
  • Oversees all general predictive and preventative maintenance of overall building (Plumbing, Electrical, Structural, etc.) for multiple facilities within the region. (Usually less than 200-mile radius)
  • Directly leads technicians that conduct the hands-on maintenance at the facilities. (10 – 15 Direct Reports)
  • Would require approximately 50% or more travel within the region.
  • Leads, motivates, and develops technicians
  • Works directly with Store Managers on their facility services needs
  • Leads daily calls with technicians and holds them accountable
  • Oversees budget
  • Manages and evaluate workload
  • Ensure tickets are being escalated properly
  • Works directly with different vendors and contractors if needed
  • Reporting and analytics
  • Recruiting and hiring of technicians
Hard Skill Sets Needed:
  • General Facilities Services / Overall Building Maintenance Experience – 3-5 years would be optimal
  • Electrical, plumbing, and or mechanical experience
  • Leadership skills – Able to lead, motivate, and develop others
  • Communication/Interpersonal skills
  • Problem solving skills – Route cause and breakdown analysis experience
  • Customer service
Soft Skill Sets Needed:
  • EPA Universal Certification
  • PMP Certification
  • Lean Six Sigma
  • Hold a valid state-issued driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) report

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $180,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
