Job Description

AECOM is actively seeking a highly motivated Project Manager to join our NE Water Group in Pittsburgh, PA.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Performs specific and moderate portions of a broader assignment of an experienced construction project manager.
  • Gathers and correlates basic construction progress and quality data using established and well-defined procedures.
  • Works on detailed or routine construction management assignments involving calculations and estimates for pay applications and change orders.
  • Proposes approach to solve new problems encountered using modifications of standard procedures or methods developed in previous assignments.
  • Identifies discrepancies in results.
  • Provides guidance to and manages construction inspectors.
  • Performs work in accordance with agreed upon budget and schedule with little supervision.
  • Coordinates and provides quality control / quality assurance for the work of field inspection team.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering or related field + 4 years of experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
  • Valid U.S. Driver’s License and as a condition of employment, must be able to pass AECOM’s Motor Vehicle Records review.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven leadership skills and demonstrated ability to successfully work with diverse teams.
  • Demonstrated proven track record of leading technical engineering and successfully managing water, wastewater, and stormwater projects.
