Key Role:
Develops electronic systems and components to use within equipment or machinery. Supports other engineers to perform tasks when necessary. Applies basic principles, theories, and concepts, limited industry knowledge. Solves routine problems of limited scope and complexity, refers more complex issues to higher levels. Works under direct supervision. Supports development of command and control (C2) systems through research, development, and testing of systems applying signal processing, communications, RF, control, sensor, and systems engineering expertise and C4ISR systems of interest, including C2 systems, radars, and other sensors. Maintains responsibility for day–to–day tasks, including testing existing systems and developing hardware and software solutions to improve C2 designs for a variety of C2 systems. Interacts with other engineering disciplines, including embedded or digital developers, hardware designers, and antenna engineers. Supports several projects.
Basic Qualifications:
3+ years of experience with C4ISR sensors and common operating pictures
Experience with Military Equipment power and control systems
Experience with computer systems and networking, MATLAB, Python, C#, and IDL, to facilitate analysis
Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Mathematics, or Computer Science
Additional Qualifications:
Experience with systems engineering, incorporating RF, digital signal processing, estimation theory, or structured system engineering practices
Ability to work in a team environment
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
