Basic Function
The Learning Technology Analyst has the responsibility for identifying, supporting and improving new approaches and utilization of learning technologies. Those technologies include Learning Management System (LMS), digital learning libraries, video integration, eLearning creation tools (i.e. Articulate) and other learning software packages on the market. Application of these tools will be for global audience in various corporate and leadership roles.
A working knowledge of instructional design and application to various learning technologies and experiential learning is desired. The person in the role is expected to become proficient in the LMS portion of SuccessFactors and provide subject matter expertise to LMS administrators within the company. Ability or willingness to learn and apply eLearning creation tools is needed to generate new and support existing training offerings. Application of web-based training to enable implementation and accelerate adoption of products, policies and standards is required. Creation of visually appealing learning modules using existing materials and voice over is required. Program support needed for existing and new face to face deliveries including communications, managing and updating department webpage, monitoring Microsoft Teams channels, survey distribution and other program functions as appropriate. Administration and coordination of various online assessment tools is required.
The position supports a global network of personnel and the ability to clearly communicate, work within teams and engage stakeholders is desired. Partnership with IT, LMS administrators, vendors, human resource professionals and other key stakeholders to create SCORM compliant training modules, assessments and other on-demand learning resources is essential for success. Ability to troubleshoot, investigate and resolve technical issues and limitations is required.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain governance of SuccessFactors Learning Management System including scheduling, reporting, communication.
- Design and develop innovative e-learning solutions that align with company culture and business goals.
- Conduct thorough needs assessments to identify learning gaps and training requirements.
- Create comprehensive e-learning and digital solutions that range from foundational to advanced skills on topics such as, leadership development, professional skills, soft skills, and communication.
- Oversee the creation of high-quality learning content, collaborating with subject matter experts to ensure content accuracy and relevance.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation related to learning solutions, including design documents, project plans, program administrative guides, and evaluation reports.
- Support program delivery through communications, webpage changes and updates, Microsoft Teams management, hosting virtual events and setup, vendor coordination and material organization.
- Expand use and application of existing learning technology tools such as Microsoft Teams, Success Factors, vendor provided eLearning and other learning software. Work with vendors on scope definition, deliverables and adherence to contractual obligations.
- Partner closely with interdepartmental leaders, corporate communications and HR functions (DEI, performance management etc.) and exercise independent judgment to deliver interactive and engaging content as defined.
- Support continuous improvement by implementing post-training evaluations and gather feedback from learners and stakeholders to measure their impact on employee performance.
- Partner with HR Reporting and Analytics function to capture, analyze and display learning data for stakeholders.
- Provide governance for technology approach and utilization.
- Ability to mentor co-workers in the development of training-related e-Learning solutions.
- Identify opportunities to improve workflow, existing programs/solutions delivery and alignment with company values, culture and employee value proposition.
Min. Qualifications
- 5+ years of OD experience in learning and development design and delivery. Non-degreed candidates should have a min of 10 years of experience.
- Strong project planning skills, scheduling and tracking progress to meet deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to mentor and motivate people at all levels across a broad variety of job functions in a geographically diverse organization.
- Strong technology skills and willingness to learn and apply new approaches and software tools.
