About the role

Join us at Reckitt as a Team Captain in our Softgels department and be part of a team dedicated to creating world-changing products. This is an opportunity to develop your skills, make a tangible impact, and work in an environment that values growth and teamwork. The schedule for this position is Friday / Saturday / Sunday from 6AM - 6:30PM.

Your responsibilities

• Ensure strict adherence to HSE, quality and standards
• Escalation of incidents, qualityt issues and deviations immediately and support follow up investigation, root cause and CAPA
• Ensure completion of monthly BSO
• Drives for Right First-Time performance on batch documentation
• Ensure full compliance to training SOPs and OJTs
• Ensure production adherence to production schedule
• Responsible for line OEE and waste performance
• Follow escalation process for line stoppages and under target OEE
• Raise waste and OEE improvement opportunities
• OEE reporting process – ensure hourly updates on OEE tracking
• Ensure individual training is complete and up to date
• Support site employee recognition schemes
• Feedback on temp to hires through recruitment process
• Support trials and intervention activities during shift in the area
• Balance priorities maintaining high quality products made efficiently in a safe environment
• Ensure that briefings are 2-way events focussed on driving KPI improvements
• Identifying, recommending and implementing process improvements.

The experience we're looking for

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Knowledge of SAP and Quality Systems preferred
• Knowledge of manufacturing and supply chain processes
• Openness to change and ability to think out of the box
• Entrepreneurial skills in terms of innovation and problem solving are key along with tenacity, tough-mindedness and ability to influence and demonstrate strong team working abilities and commitment
• Interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
• Ability to plan, prioritise and organise work and resources appropriate to requirements
• Experience of working as part of a multifunctional team, ability to network & build effective working relationships with people within the organisation at all levels
• Enjoys the challenges and demands of an ever-changing platform
• Views information objectively, makes logical assumptions and remains calm under pressure
