The Denials Management RN is responsible and accountable for receiving, processing and documenting all concurrentdenials for assigned facilities. The Denials Management RN has an integral role within the revenue cycle by providing clinical expertise in the denials management process.

 

This role performs a root cause analysis of the concurrent denial, formulates and implements a plan for addressing the specific root cause for that denial, identifies gaps in processes that lead to concurrent denials, documents and communicates findings to management. Recommends and provides education in collaboration with their manager.

 

Schedule (time, day requirements, etc.): Monday-Friday 8-4:30pmPhysical Location of position: Remote

Qualifications

In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:

  • BSN
  • RN License in Applicable State of Employment required
  • 3 years of nursing utilization review preferred
  • Experience working with EMR preferred.
  • Working knowledge of regulatory requirements and accreditation standards strongly preferred.
  • BLS from the American Heart Association preferred

Physical Requirements - Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly)

Pay Range

$34.14 - $61.23 / hour
