Within IBM Consulting, Asset Engineering Services is a group who build software products and repeatable solutions to accompany and support multiple consulting and services engagements across different clients.

Asset Engineering is looking for a motivated and seasoned Full- Stack developer to join our global team to deliver outstanding results for both internal/external clients. You will be working in one of our top 10 most prized assets called Modern Data Accelerators. This product provides the foundation of data and analytics to harness the power of our clients’ data within their enterprises. MDA provides software tools for data, including curation, ingestion, operational controls, persist & publish, data product creation, governance, and data security. You will directly collaborate with the CTO of the asset and the technical team who architect, develop, enhance, and govern the asset.

Your Role and Responsibilities

• Develop user-facing applications that utilize data from the data platform.
• Implement front-end user interfaces with React and back-end logic with Node.js or Python.
• Collaborate with Data Architect and Application Leader on API integration.
• Monitor code scan issues for vulnerabilities and fix them

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Strong understanding of front-end development frameworks (React) and back-end development languages (Node.js/Python).
• Experience with building web applications and APIs.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems.
• Ability to work with data APIs

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Knowledge of Model Ops practices on cloud and containerization
• Familiarity with design lead development methodologies in complex data platforms and analytics
• Ability to work with data from the data platform and communicate insights effectively.
