Workday Global Payroll Consultant (Third-Party Payroll)

We develop maintainable solutions and provide support for integration testing and updates for new Workday releases.</p></div><p>We are seeking a Workday Global Payroll Consultant to support the design and deployment of international payroll solutions leveraging third-party providers such as ADP, CloudPay, and other global payroll platforms.This role is responsible for ensuring seamless alignment between Workday HCM and external payroll systems, enabling accurate, compliant, and efficient payroll processing across multiple countries. This is not a traditional Workday Payroll role where payroll is fully processed within Workday. Instead, this role focuses on configuring Workday to enable and integrate with third-party payroll providers, ensuring that payroll inputs, outputs, and processes are correctly designed and executed across systems. This position sits at the intersection of functional design, payroll operations, and integration alignment, playing a critical role in global Workday deployments.</p> <p><strong>What You’ll Do</strong></p> <ul> <li>Serve as the functional lead for global payroll design, defining how Workday supports payroll processing through third-party providers</li> <li>Translate business requirements into end-to-end payroll process designs spanning Workday and external payroll systems</li> <li>Configure Workday Payroll components where required to support third-party payroll models, including:</li> <ul> <li>Payroll inputs and outputs</li> <li>Pay groups and payroll calendars</li> <li>Earning and deduction structures aligned to vendor requirements</li> <li>Data structures supporting outbound and inbound integrations</li> </ul> <li>Define and document:</li> <ul> <li>Payroll data flows (Workday → vendor → Workday)</li> <li>Country-specific payroll considerations and dependencies</li> <li>Roles and responsibilities across HR, Payroll, and vendor teams</li> </ul> <li>Partner with integration teams to ensure interfaces are designed and built in alignment with payroll requirements, including:</li> <ul> <li>Worker and organizational data exports</li> <li>Compensation, benefits, and time data feeds</li> <li>Payroll results inbound integrations</li> </ul> <li>Collaborate directly with global payroll vendors (ADP, CloudPay, etc.) to align on:</li> <ul> <li>File specifications and data ma
