Goldfarb Properties is seeking an experienced Maintenance Porter to work at one of our Grand Concourse buildings in The Bronx. This person will report to the Facilities Manager and/or Superintendent

Requirements

**Responsibilities**

• Manage general cleanliness of all assigned work areas
• Manage interior/exterior cleanliness of the building
• Clean hard surfaces, vacuum floors, clean office furniture, windows, bathrooms, elevators
• Trash removal
• Cleaning property common areas
• Care for property owned maintenance equipment
• Must have the ability to strip, wax, and buff VCT and terrazzo floors

**Requirements**

• Minimum of 2 years hands-on experience in residential buildings
• Ability to use floor machines and other cleaning equipment is a must
• Good communication skills, bilingual (Spanish/English a plus)
• Prior maintenance/janitorial/repair experience required
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including Holidays and weekends
• Team player
• Highly motivated - independent worker
• Excellent time management skills and attention to detail
