Job Description

Role background

Wolt is a Finnish technology company and until recently, we’ve been best known for our food delivery platform. On our mobile app or website, customers can order everything from pizza to paracetamol and either pick it up at the venue or have it delivered by our courier partners. 

As our Operations Associate - Supply - Courier Onboarding, you will be responsible for the Onboarding of our new Courier Partners in our region and making sure that they have everything needed in order to provide the best quality of service throughout all stages of delivery - from our restaurants & retailers to the customers.

In our Operations team, no day is the same, so you need to be self-motivated, driven to succeed, and have excellent interpersonal, and community-building skills! 

What you’ll be doing

• Onboard, retain and grow the number of happy Courier Partners on Wolt’s platform, to ensure a healthy and sustainable delivery operation.

• Activate new Courier Partner and register information in our system.

• Communication with all MED region warehouses.

• Monitor inventory counts, maintain optimal stock level and order courier gear.

• Ship gear to satellite warehouses.

• Check documents and other information that courier partner applicants submit and reach out to them in case some information is missing or unclear.

• Create and improve processes to drive operational efficiency to allow the business operations to scale efficiently.

• Share development ideas within the Operations team to improve ongoing tasks.

Qualifications

• You are a people person, an excellent communicator and a big team motivator, as you will have daily contact with our Courier Partners.

• You are a fast learner and attentive to both small details and the bigger picture.

• You have a can-do attitude and are ready to roll up your sleeves and get to work in a fast-paced startup environment.

• You have the ability to think analytically and use analytical tools, experience with tools such as Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel is an advantage.

• You are fluent in Greek and English.

Additional Information

The role can be based in Athens or Thessaloniki.
