Porter Assistant

Overview

Assists in performing custodial duties in an indoor setting as assigned by the supervisor.

Responsibilities

Primary duties and responsibilities unclude but not limited to:

 

• Performs assigned tasks at cleaning sites including but not limited to vacuuming, mopping, cleaning bathrooms, dusting and garbage removal.
• Assists in moving supplies and equipment as needed.
• Notifies supervisor of problems/difficulties in performing job duties.
• Notifies supervisor if equipment is not working properly.
• Performs additional duties as requested by supervisor.

 

 

 

Qualifications

• Ability to perform medium to heavy manual labor; ability to understand instructions given   by supervisor. 
• Flexible; able to accept changes in job duties. 
• Has some training in commercial cleaning including but not limited to vacuuming, mopping, cleaning bathrooms, dusting and garbage removal.

Physical aspects may include but are not limited to lifting up to 35lbs.
